About Me

Animals have always been one of the deepest loves of my life.
Growing up, whenever my sisters and I begged for a new pet, I was always the one who eagerly became their main caretaker.

I got my first dog, or rather, he chose me, when I was 17 years old. His name was Boomer, and he became my sidekick, my soulmate, and my constant companion. (You’ll see his photo to the right, he was truly family.)
Anyone who knew me knew that wherever I went, Boomer would be right by my side. He was even invited to three weddings, two births, and countless celebrations.
For 15 beautiful years, I only knew life with a dog by my side until he passed away in January 2023.

In his final months, when his hips began to fail, I searched everywhere for a massage therapist who could help him find comfort. Although I have spent nearly a decade as a professional massage therapist, energy healer, and sound therapist for people, I longed for someone specialized to help him, it felt too close to my heart to do alone.

After offering him healing touch myself and supporting him through his peaceful passing, I spent the following year traveling internationally, caring for beloved pets across Mexico, Amsterdam, Germany, France, Vermont, and Austin, Texas through Trusted Housesitters. Each animal I cared for deepened my love and passion for providing holistic support to pets.

Now living in Croton-on-Hudson, New York with my fiancé and his two children, I feel called to merge my healing arts background with my lifelong connection to animals.
I am currently completing my Canine Massage Therapy certification (expected June 2025) to expand my offerings even further.

In the meantime, I offer:

  • Energy healing (Reiki), with optional sound healing depending on your dog's comfort

  • Dog walking with healing touch and mindful support

  • Dog sitting: in your home or mine, where your pet is treated like family

At Pawsitive Care NY, my mission is to provide loving, intuitive, and holistic support that honors each pet's unique journey toward relaxation, healing, and balance.
I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry companion!
